cherry picking

Yesterday we went cherry picking at Hartland Orchard in Markham, Va. They were out of sweet cherries by 1pm when we arrives, but we picked sour cherries. I made a cobbler last night and a sauce for French toast this morning.

Update 6/23:

I've made 3 cobblers, and have one to go. They get better each time. And a little amaratto or gran marnier helps. :)
